Hi Devs,
Nova shared storage has issue [1] for counting free space, total space and disk
available least which affects hypervisor stats and scheduler.
I have created a etherpad [2] which contains detail problem description and
possible solution with possible challenges for this design.
Later I came to know there is ML [3] initiated by Jay Pipes which has a
solution of creating resource pools for disk, CPU, memory, Numa modes etc.
IMO this is a good way and good to be addressed in Mitaka release. I am eager
to work on this and will provide any kind of help in implementation, review etc.
Please give us your opinion about the same.
