Hi, The upcoming OpenStack Summit in Tokyo is a great opportunity to discuss open questions, like resource management and resource reservation.
The Promise project in OPNFV is working on to identify the use cases and find a solution to this missing piece. For further information about this project please check the wiki page: https://wiki.opnfv.org/promise. You can find further information about our use cases and plans here: http://artifacts.opnfv.org/promise/PromiseResourceManagement.pdf. We are trying to find a solution that can be integrated with OpenStack, therefore our primary interest is Blazar and the Nova scheduler activities. If any of you is interested in resource reservation and/or in Blazar please let me know so that we can set up a meeting for next week to discuss further the possible solutions and tasks.
