It makes sense to have a single point were response pagination is made
in API processing, rather than scattering pagination across Nova REST
controllers; unfortunately if I am not really able to comment how
feasible that would be in Nova's WSGI framework.

However, I'd just like to add that there is an approved guideline for
API response pagination [1], and if would be good if all these effort
follow the guideline.

The pagination part is just a TODO in there.

Ideally, I would like us to fill out that pagination part first.

If we can't get global agreement quickly, we should at least get a
Nova API wide standard pattern.

Am I missing something here?

When I sent my initial reply to this thread, I Cc'd the author of the
pagination guideline at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
However, I got a bounce message so it's a bit unclear if wuhao is still working
on this. If someone knows this person, can you please highlight this thread?

If we don't hear a response on this thread or the review, we can move forward
another way.
