Hi all, stable maintenance team seeks feedback on the proactive backports approach that was adopted by Neutron in Mitaka and is to be considered for wider experimentation by other interested projects: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/322273/
This email is to seek reviews on the patch describing the approach, as well as to hear from projects other than Neutron on whether the idea is applicable to them, and if not, what can be improved/generalized to make it so. It would definitely be cool to hear about actual attempts to follow the procedure, if there are brave folks in the community.
