Hello everyone, As you may notice, gate-tempest-dsvm-multinode-live-migration job became voting. It tests live-migration against no shared storage environment, and uses Ubuntu Xenial. List of tests being executed:
- tempest.api.compute.admin.test_live_migration.LiveBlockMigra tionTestJSON.test_live_block_migration - tempest.api.compute.admin.test_live_migration.LiveAutoBlockM igrationV225TestJSON.test_live_block_migration - tempest.api.compute.admin.test_live_migration.LiveBlockMigra tionTestJSON.test_live_block_migration_paused - tempest.api.compute.admin.test_live_migration.LiveAutoBlockM igrationV225TestJSON.test_live_block_migration_paused test_volume_backed_live_migration is skipped due to [1]. Next step is to re-enable again testing against NFS shared storage for ephemerals. There is a bug [2] that affects stability and requires additional research(possible test could be excluded, as it's done now for [1]). Also, there is a patch [3] in progress that adds testing of serial consoles and live migration. After that, the plan is to re-enable Ceph as a backend and consider of including job for stable branches either. Also, volunteers for fixing [1](the reason of [cinder] in a list of tags) and [2] are required. If anyone is interested, you are very welcome to participate in fixing that 2. Thanks, Timofey.
