That's fair, and I can see why it's being done this way. I do think it will deepen some of our communication problems, but there are other efforts to address those, so maybe we'll find a balance. Since there seems to be broad based resistance to time boxing anything project specific, I'd like to propose a compromise: I'd like to ask that teams allow people to add their IRC nick to the agenda items they'd like to be included in, and at the beginning of a topic, courtesy pings go out.
