we're currently trying to backport: 
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/427448/ but we need to handle some 
other gating issues first to get that merged.

hopefully have this merged soon. or my laptop will be snapped in two. so 
if you see a thinkpad in 2, then you know the status. :)
