Basically a CDN implemented via an AFS cache with Apache running in
front of it.
That would be perfect for our needs.
I browsed around on the TCL site briefly but didn't see where they
had any instructions on recommended mirroring mechanisms. Different
distros update their package repositories in different ways and the
mechanisms used to sync one are not necessarily safe for another, so
you would at a minimum want to find out a lot more about how it's
supposed to be mirrored before embarking on a quest to design and
implement one within our infrastructure.
I put up a commit for review [0] that sets up a TinyCoreLinux rsync.
Next step would be to point our build to the right URL
