Since these are distro packages, you might be interested in converting the prep scripts into a DIB (diskimage-builder) element. We can presently build images for Debian/Ubuntu/Centos/Fedora/RHEL/openSUSE... I'm sure someone out there would appreciate having gentoo, too.
