Hi,
Sorry I think I miss understood you original mail. The problem we had was
related to the VMs not the Physical host in the same network.

I don't think I can help in this regards.

/Salman.

Subject: Re: [Openstack-operators] Kilo neutron dhcp not release to physical
host

Salman, I'm using centos 7 either on computing nodes or neutron network node.
The workaround suggested by Kevin Benton in previous email works fine.
Further suggestions ?

Ignazio

Hi,

What is are you using on compute? I had similar problem few days ago with
CentOS and I manage to solve it. If you are using CentOS you can give a try
with my solution.

Hi all,
In my kilo neutron configuration I have a flat network with a dhcp agent.
Dhcp release addresses to openstack virtual machines but not to physical hosts
in the same network.
If I assign an address to the physical host I can ping the neutron dhcp server.
Could anyone help me ?
Regards
