Hi I have a iscsi storage system which provides Cinder block storage to an OpenStack cloud (running Mitaka) using the gluster cinder driver.
We are now preparing the update Mitaka --> Newton --> Ocata Since the cinder gluster driver is not supported anymore in Ocata, the idea is to expose that storage using the Cinder NFS driver, since I can export the same gluster volumes using both the gluster and NFS protocols (and therefore on the storage side no operations would be needed). The question is how to migrate the existing volumes, created using the Gluster driver. Do I have to create new volumes (using the NFS driver), copy on these new volumes the content of the "gluster" volumes, or are there smarter options ? Thanks., Massimo
