The code is available on the github repository mentioned there; http://github.com/rackspace/keystone. There are also a number of issues listed there which contain conversations around the design. The design decisions on the pluggable store, particularly LDAP, have not been made yet. We would welcome you participation and help designing and implementing the LDAP plugin.
