Hi all, I'm trying to recover from a mass renaming of our hardware nodes and have been having a bit of trouble.
After changing the hostname on all of them "nova-manage service list" show all the old hostname (in the dead state) and all the new host names. My first question is how do I remove old services from this list. (eg, if the hardware dies) and I just want to remove it from the list completely. My second question is what else do I need to change to get the hostname change to work correctly. Right now I believe most operations on instances are broken because the "host" entry on the table points to the old host instead of the new one, so deleting a host will hang, etc. Thanks -David Stearns
