FYI I had a clean extension for keystone doing just that : https://github.com/chmouel/keystone-legacyv1-extension
but it needed the review in keystone : https://review.openstack.org/#/c/25235/ for keystone which was unfortunately not accepted for a reason I am not totally sure about. Chmouel.
