I have been testing out some things on an openstack cloud and want to export a copy of an instances disk as a raw image. Is this possible?
Using the nova python client I can download a snapshot image however this doesn’t appear to be the whole image but rather just an overlay on the base image. Is it possible to download both the base image and this overlay and then somehow combine them into a single raw disk? Matt Keeler nPulse Technologies, Inc. [email protected]
