Cinder Snapshots aren't directly consumable by Xen (or any hypervisor), but instead they're used to do things like create a new volume from that snapshot. The snapshot object doesn't have any connector info associated with it. Not sure if I fully understand what you're describing, if not clarify a bit and I'll see if I can help.
