The driver [1] for two releases now has been missing a minimum requirement of 'extend_volume' [2].
The maintainer has been unresponsive in the last two releases as well. To be fair with the requirements we set with other drivers, and to maintain Cinder's goals, the Cinder team would like to drop it in the K release. Before we go about doing this, I would like to see who is using it, and if anyone who is would like to contribute to it. Thanks!
