Hi guys, I have the same problem with Fedora and Kilo.
The prpblem was first the interface name length, that puts a "-emu" or something like that in its name. I changed the vif-common to put a smaller suffix (just like any letter) instead of the -emu suffix. After that, my vm boots up and gets its IP addresses. best, Leandro.
