Hello,
I am trying to install the undercloud and basic overcloud as VM’s. My
undercloud VM is installed and I am able to login to that fine.
I was following the instructions in
http://docs.openstack.org/developer/tripleo-docs/basic_deployment/basic_deployment_cli.html
to deploy the overcloud. In order to build the images, I need to apply some
manual patches like the ones in
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304395 and after that the images
are built. The BM introspection also went fine.
For both the controller and compute I get the error.
“No valid host found. There are not enough hosts available. Error 500”.
I deployed the overcloud using the “—libvirt-type qemu” option. Isn’t this good
enough to deploy the overcloud as a VM? Do I also need to modify the flavors? I
am not sure if the overcloud deploy is taking the VM option.The ironic
node-show displays:
