You can configure it to send the packets out the interface the original packet 
came in on. That solves this problem. You don’t have to use source IP.


Am I right that we are talking here about a configuration that can be done in 
the instance OS?  If so, could you say exactly how to configure that, John, 
when the instance OS is Linux?



Actually I guess what I did does amount to using the source IP...
