A JeOS image based on a downstream kernel from Cavium was already being prepared here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/devel:ARM:Factory:Contrib:Thunder Looks like the kernel still isn't done yet... o.O A release date of a commercial server such as from Gigabyte has not been announced yet AFAIK. > Does anybody have any > first hand experience how openSUSE runs on it? It looks very promising! I witnessed a Xen domU run on openSUSE in their simulator at the launch event, and I did some minor interactions like running uname -a and cat /proc/cpuinfo in the guest - which unfortunately was not a full openSUSE but some busybox thingy (the person demo'ing it couldn't tell me what exactly it was or why).
