You could try our armv6hl build:

http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/factory/images/openSUSE-Factory-ARM-JeOS.armv6-rootfs.armv7l-1.12.1-Build178.6.tbz

(note the "armv6" in the file name despite located in armv7hl/ dir)

That would be a workaround only, of course.
