It (XFCE version as stated previously) boots/runs just fine. No HDMI. I
verified the HDMI port itself was working with Ubuntu before testing
opensuse.

I couldn't change the time/date when running the ncurses yast initial
set up. It could be I wasn't doing something correctly, but this would
be worth checking out.
