Hm, according to my old scripts, standard used to work at some point?
Been a while that I did a non-native local build though...

It's needed for build-type chroot (empty) whereas on native KVM builds
it won't be needed. And I would be surprised if it's needed on the host
for qemu/kvm cross-builds.
