I tested a number of images from both Contrib:/RaspberryPi:/upstream as Contrib:/RaspberryPi/. From the last one I never got a working image, from upstream the last one that works is Build330.10 from Aug 6.
For downstream, I am working on updating kernel to get it working. For upstream, you mean it is broken again?
All images for Raspberry Pi 2B are usable.
