I made a wild guess on what the problem might be for the rpi1 image (I don't own such hardware), since the issue is imho universal (it broke all armv6/7 images). I've submitted a fix for the JeOS image and to the kernel. the latter will probably take a few days to propagate though. Please let me know if the next images work.
