I still cannot get wifi to work.
Is there any chance it will be available soonish?
Please read the previous mailing list responses and Bugzilla ticket: You
need to uncomment a line in a config file and re-run mkinitrd when using
42.2's 4.4 kernel like the link above does.
The Tumbleweed 4.8 kernel still has no support for rpi3 Wifi.
Kernel 4.9.rc3 from Kernel:HEAD is still busted due to symbol errors and
I don't think it would have Wifi support either.

Andreas
Hi Andreas,
I'm afraid I cannot find the hint for uncommenting the line in the
config file. I've found one topic in the opensuse mailing list archive, on
https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-arm/2016-03/msg00147.html
but that does not give the solution you suggest.
Neither does the one item in bugzilla I found:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=989713
or the link that is given in comment #2 in that bugreport:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/kernel/msg2268674.html
So I'm somewhat lost here. Can you give some more detail of where I
should search?
regards, Jogchum
