The necessary SDIO drivers just barely made it into 4.12-rcX, and Tumbleweed still has 4.11. To me it looked like the new 4.12 driver was misnamed just "bcm2835", so it may require further changes to dracut configs. Or even better someone should send a patch to rename it upstream.
