Hmmm, I've digged through the wiki last night, but I was unable to find
it. Could you post the link here?

Intressting, I'm still trying to understand the whole boot process and
at which time which component is loaded and can be modified. I thought
the config.txt is loaded directly before u-boot and therefore SPI gets
activated via that dtparam switch.

So I have to get my head around the whole EFI boot.
