Good.  Which is the update repo? Under
http://download.opensuse.org/ports/aarch64/update/
I see only one for Tumbleweed

Except the line

there is no message coming up

As said, manually install pcmanfm, and it works.

kate as shipped in KDE?
gimp is probably a bit heavy for a Raspi, do we really need it? 
Instead I would like to see firefox as free broser preinstalled. Or konqueror, 
which is a bit more lightweight.
