At the same time, there are lots of other components which are more debatable, such as providing polymorphic versions of common functions. So 'basic-prelude' is intended to give a common foundation for a number of alternate preludes. The package provides two modules: 'CorePrelude' provides the common ground for other preludes to build on top of, while 'BasicPrelude' exports 'CorePrelude' together with commonly used list functions to provide a drop-in replacement for the standard 'Prelude'. Users wishing to have an improved 'Prelude' can use 'BasicPrelude'. Developers wishing to create a new prelude should use 'CorePrelude'. %package devel Summary: Haskell %{pkg_name} library development files Group: Development/Libraries/Other Requires: %{name} = %{version}-%{release} Requires: ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} Requires(post): ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} Requires(postun): ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} %description devel This package provides the Haskell %{pkg_name} library development files. %prep %setup -q -n %{pkg_name}-%{version} %build %ghc_lib_build %install %ghc_lib_install %post devel %ghc_pkg_recache %postun devel %ghc_pkg_recache %files -f %{name}.files %defattr(-,root,root,-) %doc LICENSE %files devel -f %{name}-devel.files %defattr(-,root,root,-) %doc ChangeLog.md README.md %changelog
