At this moment the new builds in network:chromium for openSUSE 12.3 and openSUSE Factory contain this fix and I have tested it and the ymp is directly opened by yast. Unfortunately network:chromium no longer builds for openSUSE 12.2, as that is requires a newer version of nss than 12.2 contains.
