That's a good question. Would it help to create a Wiki page to write quick comments, suggestions, wishes, etc.? If you want to write good texts (who don't want this?) your text will have to go through several steps: Writing, proofreading, testing, commenting, translating etc. needs time and energy. I don't want to go into the details of comparing Wiki with DocBook but the tasks are roughly the same.
