GIMP Batch Mode http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Basic_Batch/ Most often mentioned are ImageMagic utilities. I have no experience with them beyond experiments, but they are designed for a batch jobs. See also Gwenview menu Plugins -- Batch Processing, it is not one click and run, unless you want to print images, but if you have a few images than might be worth to try.
