hi all ! I have written 2 new articles recently: -Virtualization Theory: which explains 4 different approaches in Virtualization. Emulation, Full Virtualization, Para-Virtualization and OS-level Virtualization.
With this article, I hope that openSUSE will seriously re-think our Virtualization policy and start more aggressive politics on that front. More specifically, I would like faster inclusion of different virtualization technologies into the distro. Susers themselves will decide what fits them best. Our current Xen-centric strategy is wrong ! -Building a Linux Kernel: which explains to the newbies why they may need a kernel upgrade plus how to build a vanilla kernel from sources.
