No, it was not planned. What was planned was to ship a package with old 
wallpapers, so that those really disliking the new wallpaper can pick an old 
one. But as kde can't rely on that old wallpapers to be around, I will 
continue replacing old SUSE wallpapers with the new default. After all you 
updated products, not just software versions.

That this wallpaper upgrade path didn't work in beta3 is my fault, but it was
no intention.
