There's nothing about opensuse 10.x that suggests it is designed for
home use or enthusiasts only.  I've used SuSE Professional and now 10.x
for business purposes for at least 3 years.

I disagree.  They're the right product for companies that require the
kind of support and stability that accompany those products.  Typically
those are larger enterprises with strict change-management policies and
such - smaller companies are often much more nimble ships that have no
problem working with the normal release-frequency of SUSE Linux.
