Works fine for me on both KDE and GNOME. And much better than on 10.0.
Also I do not like the fact that half of my [CTRL][ALT][F1] is unused. I
do like the look, just not the fact that it takes so much place.
At 1680x1050 I did not really notice it on my notebook ;-) On PPC we are
lucky enough not to have bootsplash and stupid things like that. It
could be possible (take a look at Gentoo), but the main target of the
PPC port still seems to be IBM. So linuxrc is also optimized for the
serial console (but I was happy to learn the linemode=0 parameter :) ).
