Well if you'd read the rest of my mail carefully you would have stumbled

which implies also that I haven't all day to wait for SUN to fix their
code in a 3 years old codebase. Supposedly they will tell me that I
should use a compiler that is required by them which is indeed a gcc 3.2.2.
This is from the JSE 6 (newest version) build instructions:
