Hi! Once a local admin had the following message during boot: "If you do not want to erase your previous settings, press ESC within 5 seconds". Most people needed 5s to read the message, a few more to think, ... ;-)
However if there is no time-out, I'd expect people to look at the screen and read. The real question is this: Shouldn't it be asked before SuSEconfig runs?
