I have a DVD burner, 10GB space and no problems.

You are talking about a dual layer DVD burner. Most people do not have a
dual layer burner.

So then please suggest how it should be calculated in your eyes. Also
think that it should be workable on smaller HD's. Not everybody has a
250GB HD.
