I don't know what the status of the CVS kde window decorator is - it looks like it hasn't been updated in several weeks. But I use the suggestion on the wiki at http://en.opensuse.org/Using_Xgl_on_SUSE_Linux to use compiz with KDE: ---- To start compiz automatically, open kate, paste these lines shown below, save it as compiz.desktop in /.kde/Autostart folder located in your home directory [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Exec=compiz --replace decoration wobbly fade minimize cube rotate zoom scale move resize place switcher & gnome-window-decorator & GenericName[en_US]= StartupNotify=false Terminal=false TerminalOptions= Type=Application X-KDE-autostart-after=kdesktop ---- It works great for me.
