Hm, "rug mount" - interesting and nice feature. But why is it a rug
feature and not a libzypp feature that all libzypp-based applications
will automatically inherit?

May I naively ask if the impression that rug and YaST are sharing less
code than they should is somewhat correct?

This point - if correct, which I don't know - really concerns me. There
seems to be a fair amount of duplication and, equally problematic,
missing duplication which leads to interesting results like YaST calling
rug in order to add a YaST source.

The naive proposal would be more code sharing, ideally the result would
be innovative features like "rug mount" becoming available in YaST with
minimal extra effort.

Is that feasible? Maybe even already planned?
