Suse-10.2 Alpha2 ,any connections of a USB storage device ,in my case a Kodak Z740 camera does not pop up beautifully as it used to in 10.0/10.1 asking what do with the new hotplug The more troublesome thing is 2.6.16.13-4-default kernel does not show anything in dmesg when new usb storage devices are hotplugged. Every Camera/Pen Drive etc has stopped working.
Btw is a SanDisk SD 1 GB Memory Card supposed to work with Opensuse or Linux in General, has anybody got it to work before because that memory card of my Camera has never resulted in anything in dmesg nor has it caused a popup saying ,new device what to do ? This is when it is really bad , I know it should work ,but it just doesnt , and this is where M$ makes it presence felt ,and i had to reboot into XP and all my photos are there...
