The software updater has 19 packages to update but not all of the packages listed for update are installed. Why does it want to update packages that are not installed? After un-selecting the packages and continuing the updater wants to install packages from the install media (in this case CD's as I cannot read any DVD's anymore) I only get an error that a package cannot be installed from the install device, in this case /dev/hdc. So I pop the first CD into the drive start over with the update and some packages are installed but when another CD is required all I get is the same error message the the package cannot be found on the install media (/dev/hdc).
