I know. That's why I put the question. I have kernel 2.6.16.21 for weeks, but 
I'm sure I installed it with YOU, not with zen-updater. The log today says:
15 Sep 2006 10:32:20 INFO  RedCarpetBackend+RCTransactionProgress Transaction 
step.  seqno 10 (Install '[S1:1][package]kernel-default-2.6.16.21-0.21.i586


I just checked on another machine with fresh install and all updates 
installed. This also showed me the kernel update after I already made the 
kernel update for 2.6.16.21. Catalogue is the same 20060802. On this second 
machine I have no additional installation sources configured, only the 
official updates.
