Hi all,
I read than I can download rpms from kde4 repository:
http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE4/SUSE_Factory/
Well I use alpha4 and try to probe it.
I use smart to do it,and this is what's happens:
Upgrading packages (2):
k3b kdebase3
Downgrading packages (76):
3ddiag gnome-screensaver powersave-libs
MozillaFirefox gnome-vfs2 sax2
MozillaFirefox-translations gnome-web-photo sensors

Installing packages (11):
fontconfig-devel kdepimlibs qt-devel qt-x11
kdebase qt qt-qt3support xorg-x11-devel
kdelibs qt-dbus qt-sql
Removing packages (37):
NetworkManager-gnome file-roller gnome-terminal

PolicyKit gedit gnome-volume-manager
abiword gimp gtkhtml-sharp2
beagle-evolution gnome-applets kdebluetooth
beagle-gui gnome-bluetooth kpowersave

nautilus-cd-burner evince gnome-panel
nautilus-open-terminal evolution gnome-pilot
nautilus-share evolution-pilot
gnome-session yelp
evolution-sharp gnome-sharp2
f-spot gnome-system-monitor
And at last this message:
error: file /usr/include/X11 from install of xorg-x11-devel-6.9.0-48
conflicts with file from package filesystem-10.2-4
It seems than xorg-x11-devel has a symlink to /usr/X11/include/ on
/usr/include/X11
and filesystem created before /usr/include/X11 dir (not a symlink like
xorg do...)
I suppose this problem solved in days (updating) but I see there are a
lot of packages must remove and downgrade and this is a bad way to
people can probe new soft.(in my opinion)
regards
