That will not work, because the MBR takes precedence.

Instead, edit the grub/menu.lst of 10.1 and add something like this:


  title SuSE test 10.2
    root (hd1,11)         <-- replace with the location of your
                              10.2 grub boot parttition
    chainloader +1
