Sorry for not being able to help. The logic behind "mine works" is to say that it is not at least such a bug that it stops this functionality in all cases. And your question also was "I'm not telling you anything of my system, its architecture or anything at all, I just don't know what it does or does not do" That's why I didn't say anything of mine either. But it is x86 32 bit, running as quest on VMWare, host being 10.0.
