Well what i did was: set the debug level in the smb.conf to 10,
That pointed out that:
[2007/03/01 08:12:06, 3]
smbd/service.c:make_connection(1120)
refusing connection to dfs proxy share 'ipc$' (pointing to no)
Removing the 'msdfs proxy = no' line from the smb.conf did the trick.
